- I a word, YES!

- I experienced problems with my old A1200 with a 120 Mb IDE harddrive and a
- 4 Mb RAM exspansion with a FPU.

- When I switched to the old A500 powersupply everything worked fine.

- Since you probably have a separate powersupply for the CDROM, the A500 supply
- should be sufficient. If you don't; Get one! :)
